Business English
This course gives you an introduction to the skills areas of presentation, meetings and negotiation.
In today's workplace and over the Internet, the English language is the common 'lingua franca' shared by people from all over the world. English is used to communicate, to negotiate and to carry out business relationships even on the smallest scale. As such, it is no surprise that demand for Business English lessons continues to increase. Portsmouth English Language School is ready to meet your requirements with a variety of practical business skills that can ensure you blend in to any working environment. Our experienced teachers help you get to grips with appropriate business language and etiquette for letters, faxes, emails and for networking. We can also work with you on presentations and meeting conduct. The focus is on helping you to learn and hone your business skills and knowledge, as a result of which your confidence in this area will grow.
Intensive English + Business English Skills
This course includes 29 hours a week and runs from Monday to Friday Our afternoon and evening Business Skills courses are suitable for learners at different levels (B1, C1 and C2 as determined by the Common European Framework of Reference) who would like to develop and apply effective skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) and systems (vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation) in the business context.
The topics and tasks have been carefully selected so as to cover the syllabi of Anglia Business English exams, which can be taken at the end of the course at the school for an additional fee. These tasks give you the best possible chance to show your skills in, and knowledge of the language.
